Schooling, Gavin works in a lovely natural outline, he is a very straight forward ride, he is not sharp or responsive, but reacted well to aids given, he moves nicely and has a very trainable attitude

Hacking – Gavin hacks alone and in company and is happy to go first or last, he had past all traffic he has seen with us without issues and is a genuine ride, he is not a kick alone hack, he is happy to set the pace or potter along at the back.

Jumping – Gavin is very straight forward, point him at it and he will give it a go, he is not forward or strong into a fence, he will happily pop a fence and is easy to pull up or ride onto next fence, he would happily pop round a course of 80cm
XC - Gavin loves cross country and jumped everything we pointed him at, from ditches to drops, tyres, skinnys and arrow heads, he is bold and brave without being strong or forward.

Handling. He is good to catch (turned out in 15 acres with mares and geldings) she leads well and can be caught by anyone, he is easy to load and travels well. Fine for the farrier and is currently shod in front. He is a pleasure to own, good to bath etc.

History, We are told Gavin has been used as a hunt hireling in the past.

Who would he suit? He would suit a home for riding club, hacking, hunting, fun rides etc, would be a good mother/daughter share. A real fun allrounder to get out and enjoy
