Thoroughbred horse

Thoroughbred horse Avenida is a true gentleman, really looks after his rider. He's brilliant in the arena, very rhythmic and always safe. He used to race but you would never think it. He has a bit of a hard mouth but always had very good brakes. He can jump nicely, has jumped up to 1m10 with me, very calmly and scopey. He sometimes forgets to jump and crashes through, never runs out or refuses though, very genuine and honest. Very sane hacker, great on his own or in company, occasionally spooky but never spooks at the same thing twice. He has manners to die for! Always excellently behaved in the stable, to lead, grooming and tacking up. He lets loose in the field occasionally, and loves free schooling. I have taken him hunting, he was very good considering the atmosphere, only a couple of minor issues which I do not believe were his fault. He is very personably and affectionate, easy to train. He lives out most of the year, and occasionally comes in to go for a hack or lesson, he can be left unridden for months and be as brilliant as ever when you get back on. We've been on some pretty crazy adventures together, he's always looked after me and been loads of fun. He is the perfect hacking companion, also perfectly capable of jumping a clear round showjumping and cross country. Would also make a lovely dressage prospect.
